The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past All Dungeons RMG Tournament 2020

Overview

The main goal of this tournament is to create an open and friendly tournament for new and veteran players of Link to the Past. We will be running a Groups format into a Brackets format with adjustments based on attendance. We will be providing resources to all of the important clips and route information to make this as accessible to players as possible.

Tournament Rules:

• You must stream your races on twitch and make sure to archive your VODS

• All races will be run on SRL. An SRL guide will be posted for ease of access.

• Timing starts at file select and ends when Link enters the triforce room.

• Players must have an approved time on the Speedrun.com Leaderboards. We will be seeding players based on their times there.

• Players must play on a medium approved by the Speedrun.com leaderboards. For further clarification please go to  https://www.speedrun.com/alttp

• We will try to take all entrants into this tournament. You are required to have a PB submitted and accepted on speedrun.com. We will attempt to take all the players we possibly can but will cap entrants based on PB if an excessive number of people sign up.

• You must schedule your match with your opponent in the timing alloted and report to an admin if there are scheduling conflicts. 

• You must be a member of the tournament discord for the ENTIRETY of tournament. You are responsible for showing up to your match on time and we need to be able to get ahold of you. 

Other Items:

• It is not required but it is advisable that you keep a local recording of your races. 

• Any forms of harassment or bullying will not be tolerated. 

Restreams will happen at the discretion of the Admin team. We will try to get some number of groups matches restreamed that will be interesting to viewers. We will try to restream as many bracket matches as we can. If you would like to opt out of being restreamed please contact an admin.

Tournament Structure: 

The tournament structure will be groups into brackets based on the number of attendants. Signups will begin immediately and go until March 6th. The tournament will begin on Friday March 13th. 

You are required to turn off all alerts and notifications on your stream. Before the match, please trade one character file names with your opponent to verify authenticity. After your match report your match results to an Admin.
